This isn't just any bakery, it's a little slice of Sicily in Franklin Sq.....Family owned & operated, from the various hand made breads to yummy pastries and cookies even to the mouthwatering cakes & pies. Best Cannoli and best Cartocci (cylindrical Sicilian donut filled with cannoli cream - for anyone not familiar) I ever had. Great cookies and also the Best semolina bread. try the semolina twist you won't eat any other bread again.
Great bread and really good cookies and other baked products. It's a small world. Their bread is so good it reminded me of bread my parents used to buy in Knickerbocker, Brooklyn when I was a kid, in the 70's. To make a really long story short, as it turns out, my parents were buying bread from his parents at that very same bakery in Knickerbocker years ago! Reunited once again with awesome bread that I haven't had in 45 years! Amazing stuff. Best Semolina on long Island, hands down!
